I was born in 1950 in Duluth, Minnesota, and grew up in small towns (Two Harbors, then Silver Bay) in northern Minnesota. I went to college in Minneapolis, met and married my late husband, John, there, and then moved with him to Winnipeg, Manitoba, where we lived for 3 years. Then we moved to Maryland, and I’ve lived in Maryland since 1979. I was widowed in 2008.
My joys are music, especially making music; gardening; travelling, especially cruising and car trips; family and friends; making stuff, especially knitting, crochet and weaving; genealogy; and ministry, which I will allow to be undefined for the time being.
Now I am in transition into retirement, after working since age 17 (not counting babysitting gigs.) I approach this phase of life with many goals and plans. Some of them will be accomplished. Watch this blog; see what happens!
